Anyone in the Chig-Waukee area that can troubleshoot/repair my amp? It works a while then after well warmed up I get a squeal off and on. Shipping expensive. I travel Wisconsin - Ohio area by auto.
Also - Will trade as-is for equal value - its just a home practice amp. Thanks _________________ Sustainability is unsustainable |

I'm pretty sure you can get a Webb schematic from Tom Bradshaw, then take it to any good amp tech to go through and clean it up. I did exactly that a few years ago to get rid of excessive white noise hiss in my late 70s Webb. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

There are multiple versions of the amp from three build series by two different builders. I have schematics for all three, let me know if you need copies. |

Hi Keith,
This may be farther than you want to go, but I can highly recommend Jim Sidney at Gourmet PA in western PA, just north of Pittsburgh. Jim has worked on both of my Webbs over the years and does excellent work. He is very familiar with them, has all the schematics, and told me that he works on maybe 4 to 5 a year.
