This is not a post about the merits or demerits of certain sweeteners or of certain models of strobe tuners.

I just picked up a Peterson Stomp CLassic for my work bench. I liked the handle on the top for allowing me to hang it from the tool pegboard. I normally use Sonic Research pedals on stage, and have a Peterson Strobo Stomp HD that I use in my music room.

For the Stomp Classic I just acquired, I had no difficulty getting into the Peterson Connect page to load the Sid Hudson sweeteners I use in all my tuners. I was also easily able to load these custom sweeteners onto the stomp classic connected to my computer.

I don't need help creating the sweeteners or loading them onto the device. I'm all set there. I also am happy with the Sid Hudson sweeteners and am not interested in recommendations for other sweeteners.

Where I am stuck is finding the Hudson Sweeteners I loaded onto the Stomp Classic on the device itself. I followed the instructions in the manual, but they don't have a direct instruction that amounts to "Finding the Custom Sweeteners you Loaded from Peterson Connect." There is a heading "Programmable Sweeteners," but this only tells you where to download the Classic Stomp editor to your computer. I have a ticket in to Peterson, and presumably they can help me, but I thought it was worth a shot to see whether someone here to steer in me in the right direction in the meantime.

Watching 👀 I've had the same problem with my HD. I downloaded a preset, couldn't find it, tried to download again and it said it was already there..still haven't found it...

Here is what I received from John Norris, at Peterson:

"You can switch between the using the Factory presets or the User presets. If the tuner is set for USR presets only the presets shown selected in the Editor software are available to use.
Please press and hold the Menu and the Preset button at the same time. Either USR or FDR will show on the screen. If FDR shows on the screen to switch back to the USR presets press the button labeled +, if USR comes up press the - button.
After you make your selection press the button labeled P to go back to tuning mode.

While in the FDR all of the sweeteners should be available."
