We have a whole bunch of dates flying around here, some of which are suspect.
Will the OP please address each of them and confirm or deny?

The original post about the Spring Jam clearly stated in the opening post April 27 (Spring) and October 19, 2024 (Fall). However, the title stated August 27. I've edited that 'cause it apparently already happened in April.
Harvey has clearly stated October 19 for the Fall Jam. I've split the fall info from the spring info into a new thread, and removed a bunch of confusing posts.
Harvey - if I'm in error on any of this, please let me know.
And definitely - I wish I wasn't 2500 miles away. |

Hello: I am *planning* to run this jam. I ran one in March in Burbank and it went OK. I'm working on some new BiaB files (thanks, Frank Carter). I will run BiaB on my laptop, and I'm planning on bringing a PA system that I used at the jam in Burbank back in March, it was plenty loud enough and pretty simple. I have a very nice and bright projector.
For songs, I would prefer if we just stuck to my files as I can't guarantee how others' songs will sound on my computer (each song has to have the correct "style" files, so it's not super straightforward) Unless you want to email me the song file and the style file ahead of time. Or, you can bring your computer and I can just amplify it with my PA.
Here are the songs from back in March:
ashokan farewell jay unger D
baby’s got her blue jeans on mel mcdaniel F
bottle let me down merle haggard A
come monday jimmy buffett A
crazy arms ray price F
deep water carl smith C
farewell party gene watson E
fifteen years ago conway twitty D
fireman george straight A
fool such as I hank snow G
heart over mind ray price G
hello trouble buck owens C
I fall to pieces patsy cline Bb
I love you so much it hurts patsy cline C
I’ve just destroyed the world ray price C
invitation to the blues ray price D
kentucky waltz bill monroe D
king of the road roger miller C
mama tried merle haggard D
my weakness is too strong time jumpers C/Eb
panhandle rag jerry byrd E
she thinks I still care george jones B
someday soon suzy bogguss G
together again buck owens C
25 songs
And these are the songs I am working on getting ready (can't guarantee they will all be):
blue jade buddy emmons
buckaroo buck owens
cab driver hank thompson
cold war with you floyd tillman
girl from Ipanema antonio jobim
Highway 40 blues ricky skaggs
secret love loretta lynn
spanish eyes willie nelson
wichita lineman glen campbell
witchcraft frank sinatra
working man blues merle haggard
you don’t know me ray charles
