My reverb is getting weak and I'm considering a RV6 and I wonder how it compares to the RV3, especially for the delay factor.

the RV6 is reverb only, no delay.
the RV6 is able to fine tune the reverb more than the RV3.
as a reverb only pedal, it does a much better job than the RV3, but you give up delay.

i think BOSS figured out they could sell two pedals with separate functions, and the RV3 was discontinued.

If you want something that does reverb and delay the Keeley Caverns might work for you

I went ahead and bought an RV6 and I am really liking it, although I am still learning the settings. It does have a delay setting, which is the last (8th) selection on the dial. Also I am using a DD6 with the RV6 and getting good results. Thanks, guys, for you input. Love this Forum!
