I have a line on a Webb Steel amp, 2 speaker version. Any ideas on value? Looks to be very good condition. Thanks!

"2 speaker version" as in separate amp head and cabinet? I may be mistaken but I don't believe there were ever any 2x12 combos built in any of the three manufacturing series. Photos would be indicated when asking about value and now you've got my curiosity aroused.

For what it's worth a JBL-loaded 6-14e 1x15 combo will usually sell for between $800 - $1200 depending on condition and build year.

Wow, that's not in any catalog that Iever saw! If it's clean and tight and sounds good I'm sure it's worth as much as $1200, especially if it has the full effects loop installed, the long Accutronics type 4 reverb tank, and the remote reverb clip-on control unit included. You can easily get a new cover made if necessary.

Webb would build pretty much anything you wanted. I was in Webb's Music in Antioch CA picking up my Kline PSG and John Campbell was pitching the amp to me. I was using a Twin Reverb in a head cabinet into cabinet with a JBL K130. I told him I would buy a head version. He said he would talk to his cabinet maker to design a head cabinet. So, I got the first head version. I paid $800 for it.

That looks like an awesome (and really heavy) amp.
