Lloyd Green Sho-Bud Steel Guitar and case in excellent condition. For sale and no trades.
She's a 1984 model and in the best condition for a Lloyd Green Steel Guitar that I have seen in many years. Like New Condition, has been played very little.

This Steel Guitar is in Excellent condition.
Those that love and like Lloyd Green, who want to sound like him, this is a Steel Guitar in Showroom quality for you.
Lloyd and I have been friends since 1977. We had quite a discussion a few years ago. I was contemplating the Wood bodied Steel Guitars verses the Mica cabinet Steel guitars. Lloyd told me that he preferred a Wood Body Steel over the Mica Steel Sound. His reasoning was that the Resonance of a Wood Body Steel had a better tone that he preferred.
With that all said, no one will ever sound exactly like Lloyd Green, just like no one will ever sound exactly like Buddy Emmons or Julian Tharpe. All my Heroes of the Steel Guitar. However, this Lloyd Green Show-Bud is a step in the right direction.
I would love for someone who loves or likes Lloyd's playing to get this Steel Guitar. It's a rare find. Lloyd Green was and still is a Master of the Steel Guitar.

Peter; looking at underneath I can tell you it is the Standard Copedent that ShoBud had off the floor.
Pedals A;B;C standard Emmons
RKR lowers D# to D & C# and low D to C#
RKL lowers both E's to Eb
LKR raise F#'s to G
LKL raise E's to F

This Lloyd Green Sho-Bud is in the best condition of any that I have seen like it in many years.
I'm selling it for $4200. I see others sell for almost the same amount and they are not in mint condition like this one. Plus, the case is in excellent condition.
Price is firm or I'll keep it. Not interested in any trades.

I had forgotten just how good these LDG Steel Guitars were. It's far superior to the other newer Steel Guitars that I have owned and played during the last few years. I'll just hang on to her now.
