Offering for sale my Ric. In very good condition. A small chip on treble side by volume knob. Finger wear on a couple of the white plates. Otherwise this is a solid player. No issues. Ric Aiello rewound the pu for me to the old specs. Wonderful job. Drastically changed the tone. Has big power and strong bottom end. Pots are clear and clean. Tuners work like they should. Comes with the hard shell case shown. Some scratches on peg head cover.Am still gigging with this guitar, have something else in my sights. The way it goes.PM me with any
questions. In A6 tuning. $1600.00 includes shipping in conus.

Not exactly sure. It is a BD and it has the 6 holes drilled for string through body so it is in the last years of the Bakelite guitars I believe. Scary powerful.

No. They came from the factory that way. Ric went back to the string through body design in the final years and would out put on a 7 string tailpiece,7 pole pickup, and modified the headstock for the extra string.Same guitar as in previous years but for the holes in the body and of course the metal cover on the headstock.

As I understand it,in this time period Ric did the string thru body again for a while but only for the 6 strings. 7 and 8 string got the tailpiece. This one has the 6 holes through the body. These guitars as I understand it did not have the integrated bridge. These subjects have been gone over here on the forum that's where I have gotten my info from.
