I decided to post a picture of my Jackson Blackjack Custom today because I'm now back behind it after eight days without power. On Monday or Tuesday night, when it was dark in my house, I turned a lantern on, and made sure my steel was still in tune, using no amplifiers, picks, and bar. I played all ten strings with my fingers, and the steel is still in tune, so I can play again!

Brett, one of those headphone battery powered amps like the Fender Micro or Nux, Boss and a couple others would give you some playtime during power outage. I have a couple battery powered amps that I can charge on my car plus the headphones amp. I'm covered for home practice if I desire.

Finally got power back a couple of hours ago. Guess I can play plugged in again now!
