Tommy sure can cover a lot of ground! What a fine player and what a nice humble guy. He sets the bar pretty high for sure!

Tommy is for sure in the top ten players. Amazing...
Does anybody know the first singer for sure in that video? At first look, I thought it might be George Highfill who was one of my teachers at the Hank Thompson School of Country Music in 1974 AND 75. George was a great harmonica player and a good singer. He did have a career in the music business and was big in Europe.

Think that was Charlie McCoy Larry ... I'd have to take a bottle of Valium to be relaxed enough to play that fast, but then I'd probably just want to take a nap instead. Think I'm too tense to play fast or hit a driver 300 yards.

Great band. Wanda, playing fiddle, is a fantastic musician. I saw her in St Louis and she was playing lead guitar. She blew me away. She also played a mean steel guitar.
Wish that show was still around.

TOMMY Has the 2 fastest fingers there is, if you watch his hand most all his single string work is done with thumb and his second finger. Tommy is one of my favorite players there is..and has the best tone.. no matter what guitar he is playing..as seen in these clips.. Very Happy

That was Charlie McCoy singing. As far as Tommy Whites playing goes, David Wright said it best.

Here’s a video of her playing steel with the criminally underappreciated band Wild Rose: https://youtu.be/hdbAhSvT9Xg?si=7Y_VsPR6EsliOxu2

I can’t recommend going down the Wild Rose rabbit hole enough! I love all their albums.
