Yes. But not completely. I'm 83 and have Parkinson's, which affects coordination, and causes tremors. I was never that good on PSG, but have always enjoyed noodling around with it. I still do.
Over the last year or so I have been focusing on C6 with a Rogue, and some open D on an acoustic guitar with a raised nut. I have trouble holding a bar and, after a lot of experimenting, have found two bars that work well, depending on what I am trying to do. the Shubb SP2 and a 7/8", Clinesmith, polymer bar.
I'm primarily playing the C6 Rogue, and have been going through much of the instructional material, of which a lot is available. I also enjoy playing tabs which several forum members have published. _________________ Bob Shilling, Berkeley, CA--MSA S10, "Classic" |
