Anyone who has a 1930's or 1940's era Rickenbacker lap steel like the Model B or the Silver Hawaiian, to name just a couple, knows that the pot metal tuner buttons are prone to cracking and breaking. Worse yet, finding original vintage replacement tuners is like finding a needle in the proverbial haystack. I searched all of Reverb and eBay and, despite 1000's of vintage tuners of ALL types listed for sale, I only found a single one of these same tuners listed....for $109 which makes my low price a steal: https://reverb.com/item/78304014-waverly-tune-rite-tuner-1930s-1940s-bass-side-tune-rite
So Rickenbacker lap steel owners should be happy to know that I have an assortment of these tuners in good condition for about half of the Reverb selling price! These are 80 year old tuners so they do show some finish wear, some more than others, but the all important buttons are intact.
Singles with some finish wear on the buttons are just $55 each and the few I have with virtually no finish wear on the buttons are $70 each. PM me for a shipping quote. If interested in a complete set, PM me for pics.
Here's what I have:
I also have a four of these unusual & very rare 1930's & 1940 tuners with the same style buttons but the plates are wider (and cover screw holes!). Price is just $40 each:

Still have quite a few left. Anyone here need any before I list these on the Bay where they'll get snagged? Just trying to be mindful of folks here. |

Hey Jim,
I am glad to know you are safe and didn’t suffer much damage from Mother Nature. My tuner arrived and is installed - my B6 is back in commission and sounds awesome. Thanks for everything.

Not "impossible". I stand corrected. There's a few listed for sale on Reverb for $100+ each so consider getting these while you can for a MUCH better price! |
