For my guitar. Zum Encore, and Shobud, and my various laps. _________________ A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first. |

My SF is modded to have reverb on both channels, so I can run different tubes in V1 and V2. I use the #1 input, and commonly run the bright switch ON to restore the highs at lower volume (once the volume goes up, the bright switch has no effect). |

Volume @ 5-6 to pass adequate signal, Master at 5-8 (depending on the room) to keep my pedal ‘in the zone’. Many disagree, but I think the Master Volume is the best thing that ever happened to a Twin… |

It might depend on your pickups. My steel guitar has 11k ohm pickups so I go into #1. If you have high impedance pickups you might want to go into #2 to avoid overdriving the Twin's front end. |

Try them both and see which works better for you. I have 2 older tube Twins and the newer Tonemaster Twin and I have tried both Inputs with no issues. Generally the 1st input on the reverb channel is best but a hot pickup has made me use the 2nd input to avoid overdriving the signal. |
