I'm looking for a j hook and/or the whole turnbuckle. If anyone has or knows where I can find please let me know.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s impossible to find them but most people that have a Fender 400 or 1000 make their own using turn buckles from the hardware store.

I’ve used the smallest size ones from Walmart/Lowes/Ace. I made cables with wire rope and crimped ferrules. There is a Facebook page for Fender pedal steels with a ton of valuable info on tuning, lube, maintenance and making cables. It’s in the FILES section.
