Hello StringMaster - enthusiast - owners. GeorgeBoards purchased an original Thumb-Wheel Knob from a forum member (Thank You) and we reverse engineered the Thumb Wheel with a few improvements too.
For those who do not know - the wheels simply press on the splined split shaft so we made a New Wheel that fits nicely and we added a textured edge for east grip.
Of course these will never be replicas for restoration, the originals were machine lathed from a metal bar, and would be super expensive to make a true replica.
Although if you simply want a thumb-wheel knob to make the blend pot easier to adjust at a Low Price, Here It Is.

Brilliant!
George, do you also make the hex bolts and washers that are used to attach the tie-rods together? I think it was Tony Oresteen who wrote in a thread that you have some 3-d printed versions of those as well. |

Hello Alex, No I don't make nuts and bolts,
What I do make is the Little Tubes to Align the Necks that 1/4" Thread rods go through.
I got the measurements here on the forum, from a member's thread where he micro measured and drew pictures with the measurements.
Those have a little Raised Divider ridge in the center.
Same deal as the Thumb Wheels in that they are difficult to find, and the originals were machine lathed and would be very expensive to recreate those. _________________ GeorgeBoards S8 Non Pedal Steel Guitar Instruments

In case anyone following the thread wonders, this is the part that George can provide. These bushings go inbetween the necks on D8, T8 and Quad Stringmasters.
