How do you know what style picks you want without talking to someone. Iv tried to contact him. No luck.i even sent him a number.

When I bought mine, I got his 'bowl' shaped ones, but after a short while, I sent them back and he re shaped them to the more narrow blade style. I got more 'pick noise' with the bowl shaped ones. You may like the wider blades..lots of folks do, but if you don't, he'll re shape them.

| I picked blades that looked similar to my regular style. The spoon shaped kind. They look and feel OK and no other problems. I can't say I use them over my standard Dunlop picks but feel and fit are suitable. |

Larry do you think that is down to the shape of the pick or the material? Does the silver have a different sound? |

| The sound may be a little different but that could be due to the feel of the wrap bands compared to the Dunlop. Dunlop has a larger wrap band so the feel is solid. Landis picks have a smaller band and while it grips great the feel is different so more time needs to be spent getting used to it for a fair comparison. It's really hard to describe feel and tone but I would have no problem using Landis picks all the time. I'm just used to my stock picks for the last 30 years. |

I have 2 sets of 3 round-end Landis picks. I'd thought the softer sound and feel was due to the sterling silver composition, but more likely it's as much due to the shape.
Love the feel, but I did have to EQ in a little more high-end. OK, Landis picks are pricey, so perhaps OP might want to buy a couple of different shapes locally, then decide what he wants to put bux towards.  |
