Does anyone play one of these guitars, or have knowledge of them to be able to critique them?

I've developed a serious interest in this guitar. But have yet to find anyone that has one, has played one,

or can tell me about them; pro or con.

If you'd like, you can contact me through the forum by email or pm.

I'd appreciate any and all feedback you may provide.

Thanks, in advance.

I own a Blueridge BR183, which is a tribute/clone of an OM-45 guitar from a well-known US company. My brother in law has a Blueridge BR-383, which is a the same size, mahogany body and simpler trim.

Both of these guitars are well-made, sound good, very playable.

Don't know if that answers your question or not. Smile

I'm gonna leave this open because I'd like to hear other opinions about these guitars.

I think Sierra Ferrell's Blueridge is the 163 don't know about CE, tons of her on utube. When she's not playing it one of the guys in the band is. Sounds good to me.

Will,

I believe that the CE is the cutaway version of the BR-163. Thank you for the info on Sierra Ferrell's

videos.

The Blueridge neck profile is smaller and narrower versus a typical Martin or Gibson flattop. Maybe you like, maybe you don't?

The scale length is like a Martin OM or D-28. Slightly longer than a Martin OOO or a Gibson J-45. Matter of personal preference,

The truss rod is accessible through the sound hole, with a 4mm or 5 mm Allen wrench.

I’ve have a Blueridge br180 which is based on a pre war Martin D-45 with a Sitka spruce top. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and like it a lot, plays well, action and intonation are spot on.
I’ ve been playing Martin acoustics for 55 years now and presently own a D12-28,
HD-28,D-21, Dss17, D-15, and also owned a 1969 Brazilian rosewood D-21 which I sold.I still own a 1965 Gibson LG-1.
I’d say it’s well worth the $$ for the Blueridge! Build quality is very good and sounds very good.

D. Schubert: The neck profile on the Blueridge being smaller and narrower is a definite plus, for me.

My continued appreciation for your reviews.

Dana Blodgett: The fact that the Blueridge holds a prominent position with your Martins and Gibson LG-1

says a lot about build quality, playability, sound and value.

Thank you for your info and review.
