Depends on the individual ohms and how they are wired. You can find the ohms value just above the terminal here:

I have a couple of these flat mag spider web speakers model 1201-8. I like 'em a lot.

That looks like a bass cabinet with the ported bottom. I dunno if those drivers are the ones you want for guitar. Check the model from the description above.

The surrounds on those appear to be different from any of the guitar speakers I have but, Peavey had a wide assortment of speaker models in the 80s.

I agree with Jerry. It looks like a bass cab to me.

I needed a bass cab around 1998ish and I went to Peavey dealer and IIRC he had 3 options: 2 x 10, 2 x 12, and 1 x 15. All were ported. I opted for the 15" with a BW speaker.

I am still using it as part of my bass rig:

Around 2012 I bought the Carvin BX600 head and a Carvin 2x10 cab. Rock solid rig.

thanks Smile a bass cab? that is interesting. i do own an Ampeg SVT but i would hate to rip up those beautiful speakers. the guy who bought it new in 1980 is a studio ace guitar player..... this was his baby, he never took it out. i used to own a Peavey f400 guitar cab.... a huge 4x12 guitar cab w/ port/s....
i know, ports for guitar cabs is not very popular but i like them.....it's not like it turns your strat into a p-bass , it just adds heft n chug to the cab's sound. Currently i have my carvin x100b guitar amp. plugged in. Carvins clean channel is pretty darn good.... and it really sings w/ this cab.... i paid 250 for the BW cab, i took a foto thru the handle opening but i am not taking it apart....

cheers

Long as it sounds good to you, the specs don't matter.
