I was playing in a country band and our bass player & wife (singer/guitar) moved from Oregon to Michigan. He wants to buy a guitar! Either a single neck E9 (3 pedals 4 levers) or maybe a double 10 like mine (Carter D10).

Can anyone here recommend a trustworthy shop I could call and scout options? They live up in Upper Peninsula, so not close to anything, really, although he has family in both Missouri and Nashville, so driving to either place wouldn't be crazy. I want to source an instrument for my buddy that he could go and pick up. I know what to ask for / talk to the dealer, but I can't go with him to pick it up...and he doesn't know how to play, so he can't confirm that instrument works...so I'm looking for a dealer I can trust.

Any recommendations for a trusted dealer, especially in the midwest down to Nashville?

Thanks,
Brandon

In Nashville, Johnie King always has several steels in stock and for Sale. In Orange, Virginia, Billy Cooper has a good stock of steel guitars and is a trustworthy seller. You can find him in the "Links" at the top right of this page.
