I'm looking for a way to play backing tracks... most likely MP3 files. I know I could use an MP3 player but I'd really like to be able to do it with footswitching like with a loop pedal... Has anyone done anything like this who can offer advice?

The Nux JTC PRO Drum Loop PRO works good for this but instead of mp3 it uses .WAV files and those must be 24bit @ 44.1Khz.

For Practice I use Chordify premium, costs like $12 per year.
It will loop sections, auto repeat, and slow down.
Load any songs including youtube for originals.
Works for me.
