Hi everybody,

Trying to get going on my recently purchased Stage One Steel.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows if John Widgren of Wilton Ct is still teaching pedal steel. He appears to be the closest instructor to me.

I have tried to contact him via a phone number on his Linked In page but the number comes back "out of service." (Number shown is 203 762 8951).

Any current contact information would be appreciated!!!!

use a GPS. John's house can be hard to find. I have passed it by mistake many times.

Yes, John's house is a bit tricky to find. I've passed
it several times myself.

John just serviced my Rains, a couple of weeks ago. He
does great work on steels, as well as being a great
instructor. And he plays great, as well, as being a super
nice guy.

I have taken a lesson from him. Good instructor . He does great work on guitars and I have had a number of steels serviced by him. Not only is the work very well done, his prices are fair and he is scrupulous in only charging you for exactly what he did. The only sad part is that he is gone half the year, so he is packed when he first gets back.
