"Stranger Things Have Happened" is from Brandy Williams' 2013 album "Honky Tonks and Heartaches". Great song, great voice, and great Mike Johnson steel. I'm sure Brandy wants to sound like herself but there's lots of hints of Ashley Monroe, Dolly Parton, Lee Ann Womack, and Pam Tillis in her voice and it's perfect for classic country.
I initially posted this back in 2019 but took another look at Mike Johnson's break at 2:14 and added the intro and ending licks today. Hope it's close... Questions, comments and corrections always welcome.

Jeff you the man! I just shared this tune on yhe advice FB page after being introduced to it. Mike plays it brilliantly of course. Hey Jeff. Just wanted to share my version here with ypu. Im hearing single notes at the start. I cantget the phrase leading into the 2dom7 to sound right no mattwr what i try lol. Anyway hwres my feeble attempt.
