I have decided to part with my GFI Universal Steel Guitar. This Steel Guitar was custom made for me summer 2023. It has never been played on a job.

Shortly after purchasing it, I had the ACE Case Company in Missouri make a $495 Special Road case for the Steel Guitar. It has the standard Universal 12 string tuning with 7 floor and 5 knee pedals. It is a Beautiful Glossy Black and Burnished Silver colored instrument. Everything is in perfect order.

You may wonder why it hasn't been played on a job. I have three other Steel Guitars.

This GFI Steel Guitar is the last Keyed 12 String Steel Guitar that GFI will make. They choose to only make Keyless twelve string steels. It took a lot of time to ever talk them into making this Steel Guitar.

If anyone is interested in experimenting or playing a Universal 12 string Steel Guitar, this is the best buy you will find on a New Steel Guitar.

Someone asked me if this is an Ultra Model. Yes it is and the reason the sticker or sign isn't on the Steel, GFI does not build Keyed 12 string steels anymore. They build only Keyless Steel Guitars.

This is the only keyed twelve stringer built by that company for years. It was built for me in 2023 and never played on a job.

Last year I got married, and I have three other Steels. So, I have decided to part with it. Contact me if you are interested. It's a Great Steel Guitar and it's new.

So you can buy a rare Steel Guitar that is perfect and new without waiting over a year to get a keyless made.

I know some guys really like a Keyless Steel Guitar. That's ok if that's what a player wants. A few years ago, I had BMI custom make a keyless Universal 12 stringer for me. Honestly, you couldn't give me a keyless steel guitar. I played it four times, put it in the case and sent it back to BMI and waited another 8 months at that time to get a keyed model. That's why I wouldn't buy a keyless GFI. They are not what they are cut out to be. That's my opinion, so don't jump on me about keyless steels.

With that said, you won't find a better 12 stringer than this GFI Keyed Universal Steel Guitar. They have parts if you ever want anything added on to it or changed. I worked with them for about a year, and I know this Steel guitar inside and out. It's a Beautiful musical instrument and sounds excellent.

You won't get a better deal on a Universal 12 string Steel Guitar that was never played on any job.

If it helps, I just shipped a 80 lbs. MSA D-10 from CA to MI, via UPS, it was around $300 without insurance. I'm sure this guitar weighs much, much less.
