I am located in Portland, Oregon, and I'm helping list an incredibly large collection of vintage lap steels. All of these instruments play and are in working order. Each instrument has been tested and gone over in depth. Strings were replaced when necessary. Pots have been cleaned when necessary; tuner knobs were replaced if necessary; only one instrument required the pickup to be rewound, which was done professionally. Obviously local pickup is preferred, but I'm open to shipping to interested parties (prices do not include cost to ship). Happy to meet between Eugene and Vancouver. I will list details on each here, but feel free to message me with questions or offers. This post has a mix of several different steels - see list below. (post 2 will have Nationals and Supros, post 3 will have a mix of Magnatone/Epiphone/Recording King/Guyatone/etc, and post 4 will have Richenbackers)
This post contains the following steels (please comment or pm if any have been misidentified):
- Epiphone Electar Century - $1500
- Recording King Model A - $1200
- Recording King 1930s Lap Steel - $1150
- Guyatone Bruno Conqueror - $650
- Magnatone Troubador - $550
- Magnatone Amerloha - $450
- Oahu Tonemaster - $750
- English Electronics Tonemaster - $800
Epiphone Electar Century - comes in original case, this is an original and not a reproduction/newer model
$1500
Recording King Model A - rare, early steel; comes with original case
$1200
Recording King 30's lap steel - comes with original case. (can anyone help identify the model?)
$1150
Guyatone Bruno Conqueror Lap Steel - comes with original case
$650
Magnatone Troubadour - comes with original case
$550
Magnatone Amerloha -
$450
Oahu Tonemaster - comes with original case, believe this to be 1930s but let me know if that's wrong
$750
English Electronics Tonemaster - comes with Stringtone pitch changer by Rowe, already attached, which sells for $200 alone
$800

Hi - I am interested in the 8 string Epiphone you have listed. Can't PM you for some reason but I have some questions:
What year is it?
Does it have a 1/4" jack?
Thanks. |
