I have heard this tune played often on the Pedal Steel so I thought I would give it a try on Non-Pedal Guitar and without all the Effects I have heard, hope you enjoy.

I've loved that beautiful tune since I saw the film as a child. Well done, Jim! I was just listening to Bill Frisell's version yesterday. I arranged it for C6th a few years back but I need to relearn it now. Thanks for sharing! _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com |

I think one thing I learned in all my years of professional performance was to respect the melody. Every time someone posts their performance I listen intently, awed by the precision of their touch, and the lyrical beauty evoked. This performance gave a blessed peace as I listened. The skill I see makes me more determined to try to achieve such ability in the years I have remaining. Thank you for that. |
