That was "1995", 2 years before I joined Dale's Band; so there was 3 different players on Pedal steel on first album from High-Tone records> "your guess for each song"
Marty Rifkin
Scott Walls
Jimmy Day

I was with Dale from 1997 to 2003 and I actually dropped out of the band to pursue my golf career cuz I was going to join the senior tour when I turned 50 but I had to work as a PGA professional for at least 5 years before that could happen so I became a PGA teaching professional, joined the mini tour and I hurt my shoulder in the very first year so I had to go back to playing music, but I already taught Dale's new steel player don don all the parts that me and Dale did so I couldn't rejoin the band, but at that time Redd Volkeart just quit Merle Haggard's band in California moved to Austin so me and redd put a band together and eventually I met my now ex-wife Miss Leslie and onward from there.
