I have 3 lap steels: a modified rogue, a pretty 1939 Vega model 100, + NOW - A NEW ONE, seen on Ebay & Amazon @ $119. & $129. it was pictured as a "G STYLE" brand.
It appears to be very similar to a 1937 GIBSON HE-100. It has a sunburst OKOUME wood body with a 23 1/4 Scale, a pretty inlaid Ebony Okoume fret board.
its pickup has adjustable poles. the Bridge is more well made than some - & strings are secured through the body from rear. Tuners are the separated sealed type, with an over string gathering bar forward of the bridge. MINE arrived with a different brand on the head stock = "TARIO" but is the same as the one labeled "G STYLE". I includes a padded bag & cable. I like it a lot. It is very well designed & made. It will need new strings & some anti-slip on its back. But is at very least a good beginner to intermediate 6 string Instrument (IMO) see pix.
