Good morning all.
YouTube has notified me that they will never allow me to have another YouTube account, no matter how many times I have appealed. You know, $$$ talk, and that is what happened.
However, there was nothing to stop me from opening a YouTube account in my wifes name. DONE
I will once again begin posting videos from my archive.
Thank to to the hundreds of folks around the world that had downloaded some of my videos and helped me rebuild my library.
The ones I own from the ISGC will not be posted and will probably never be seen again.
But I have hundreds of others that I was fortunate enough to record over the years while handling sound for many shows.
So let's get started SUPPORTING steel guitar, not hiding history.
First one up:
1995 Smoky Mountain Steel Guitar Jamboree
Lloyd Green and Jeff Newman - on stage together

Too bad that the steel guitar hall of fame wasn't more of a business. You could donate the material to them for the history of Steel Guitar.
Maybe you could strike a deal with the Musician's Hall of Fame here in Nashville with the clause that the videos have to be available for viewing online.
Maybe they would even house our HOF plaques! |

Ron,
That horse has been beaten to death.
The SGHOF has copies of my videos.
Based on previous posts, the Musicians HOF has no interest in the SGHOF or the plaques. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. We can't thank you enough for this, Bill!
No matter how many times I listen to Lloyd, I am stil amazed by how his playing always sounds so "easy" (without being easy at all). Never a show-off, just 120 per cent taste. |

Bill,
When I toured the Musician’s HOF here in Nashville, I was really disappointed. It was more of a Supet Star hall of fame of singers that had big hits and happened to play an instrument.
I guess the typical tourist wouldn’t know an abscure, to them, fantastic Musician. The MHOF needs to draw people in to keep the 💰 rolling in. |
