I have a friend who just purchased a Legrande II, serial no. 1755L. It has some issues and is in ok shape but is missing a bunch of the little E clips that hold the undercarriage rod to the bell crank. Anyone have these for sale? anyone bought them from local hardware store? I don't have a digital micrometer, but I"m assuming the rods are the 7/64. They all look the same diameter and look original.
May send this out to have cleaning/restoration done, who does this type of work on the Legrande II?
In the meantime want to get it at least back together with the E clips. |

Go with the Emmons factory E-Clips.
To maintain original Emmons setup.
The standard Emmons E clips are only .015 thick. Factory rod slot is about .020 wide. |
