I need to add a couple pulls to one of my SKH Legrandes (I have 2 and love 'em).
I'm not a fan of the bell cranks I have with the annoying little circlips that can pop off, but I guess I should continue with the type that are already there.
But- Years ago, I was at Bobbe Seymour's shop and he sold me GFI bell cranks for my Emmons. They do seem to be a better design. _________________ "You call that thing a guitar?" |

Those E-clips can try ones patience sometimes. Since Emmons uses 7/64" rods, You need E-Clips that fit exact to the 7/64" rod.
But the Emmons 14 hole bell cranks do allow for fine tuning pulls. I have a jig I made to bend the ends on the pull rods to 88 degrees. When pressure is pull on them, The pull rods pulls tighter to bell crank so no pressure on E Clip.
Good Luck and back Happy Steelin. |

SKH uses 4 hole pullers which uses spindles that lock to the pull rods via set screws. I'm sure some one would have some extras laying around.RP _________________ Emmons SKH Le Grande, '73 Fender P/J bass, Tick tack bass, Regal high strung, USA Nashville 112. |
