Oh boy…
I am letting go of this wonderful copy of a Bigsby 5-String Mandolin…
The woodwork is by Ed Elliott, and is a bench copy of a bench copy of the Tarver mandolin by TK Smith…
The woods are all top-notch, and fit the Bigsby tradition…
The hardware and pick ups are by TK Smith…
The antiquing was done by me here at E Stamp Guitar Reproductions…
I have cut a Bigsby logo, but it remains uninstalled…
I have antiqued a set of flathead screws, and they too remain uninstalled…
One problem: shipping…
USPS will only insure up to 5K, and I will not use the other shippers…
I will be traveling the left coast quite a bit in the upcoming months, so maybe a handoff?
That would be preferred…
This is a lovely instrument, and probably the ultimate Bigsby five string copy…
I’ve heard that TK Smith no longer sells his mandolin pickups, so this is a pretty rare deal…
Thanks all!
