I didn't want to hijack Kevin's thread about his cases, but I noticed that Lloyd's Sho-Bud HOF guitar in Ricky's post seemed to have narrow pedals on the A, B and C pedals and the wider pedals on the C6th neck.

Is that the way he had it set up?

Personally, I have a Pro II and could never get used to the wide pedals...

Bill

Yes Bill; back in the mid-60's Fingertip days; they were always loaded up with 9 pedals as the 9th pedal always lowered High C on C6th side. So the first 3 pedals underneath; bracket that the round cross-shafts were mounted in; were closer together than the even spacing of the others; so those first 3 pedals were cut to give more space between some or all 3 and either same amount or just one side; up to the player. Yes this Is exactly the way Lloyd played it back in the day and same copedent and everything; here's a couple shots showing the underneath the way I set it up; as it was from the 60's.

Sorry for the flashes on the pics...I'm not very good with camera....ha....LOL>

(BTW; this is the pedal steel Lloyd came up with the E to F raise he wanted for Tammy's D.I.V.O.R.C.E...and there was already 3 knees and so they put the new E to F on LKR and Lloyd played that set up on all future steels to Current.)

You're welcome Bill and if you have any other detail questions about any Lloyd Green stuff and ShoBud history stuff; I learned everything from all my Mentors.
Ricky
