Much though I hate to do it, it's time to let my Mike Scaggs refurbished 1970 Emmons fatback ("Blackie") go. If you know Mike's work, you know what this means... Complete clean-up, polish, re-flock, incredible re-build, etc.
8x6. Es to F on LKL and Es to Eb on RKL. LKL on C6th raises Cs to C#. Standard floor pedals. Full copedant on request.
Comes with a black LeGrande pedal rack as well as the polished original pedal rack.
The case is beaten up but functional. (But surely you're not buying a guitar like this for the case...)
It's 'that' sound you just won't get anywhere else.
I strongly prefer not to ship but will do it if needed.
Happy to answer any questions you might have by DM or email.

I'm having trouble posting photos from my phone to the forum... I was going to post the full copedant and will once I can figure out how to get the photo converted to the proper format. In the meantime...
Standard Emmons floor pedals.
E9
LKL = Es to F
LKV = low G# to B and D to E
LKR = F#s to G# and D# to E
RKL - Es to Eb
RKR = D# to D/C# and D to C#
C6
LKL = Cs to C#
RKL = C to B
RKR = A to Bb
Other details... the extra LeGrande pedal rack has been reconfigured to fit the push-pull pedal spacing.
The sticker says "Stereo" though this guitar is obviously not.
Other questions? Want other photos? Let me know.
Thanks! |

Yes sir
Although it has been awhile, I remember this guitar well and she honks! I took this guitar up to Billy Knowles place when I finished her up too get a second set of eyes on her and was please to get a full sign off from Billy.
Good luck Chris with the sale but I know you will miss her when she's gone. To me 7K is more than fair for this fine vintage Emmons and you don't have to wait
Cheers to ya'll

Thanks, Daymon. I’m thinking you may know the quality of these guitars better than anyone besides Mike! (And if you decide you’re ready for another one, let me know. ) |

Hello, What does it take to complete the sale? Not sure I have what it takes to drive to Nashville at this point... I am near Raleigh. I was in the hospital and have to start working again tomorrow.
Will send PM. Thanks for looking. |
