Yes that is Lloyd Maines playing his LloydBro as he calles it.
It is a regular guitar w/raised nut.

They were just on the Jay Leno Show and Lloyd was playing a Resonator(Dobro) and sounded great.
And how about the Dixie Chicks album going number 1 on billboard in the first week out. |

Great disc. Hasn't left my CD player since I got it a week ago. And guess what... Not a single note from a steel guitar on this CD. Dissapointing not to hear PSG, but the CD is really that good that I don't miss it that much.

It was produced by a Steel Player so that might be the secret of why it sounds like it does. I like it also and I'm glad to see it selling so well. |

If I was Lloyd, I would have been chomping at the bit to throw some steel on that Cd. Lots of places that it would have shined, but it's still a great CD.
