When it rains it pours ... literally was stuck in Ft. Lauderdale International Airport for an 8 hr rain delay ... after a quick trip to show our kids where we grew up in West Palm Beach & Lake Worth ..

Waiting for me were two packages ..

First, a Trotmore that I got here on the forum ... It sounds wonderful and plays like a dream ... mucho mahalos to forum member John Widgren ... a pleasure to do business with Mr. Green

Second, Jerry Byrd's personal photo album. Hundreds of photographs from the 40's & 50's ... given to me by my buddy Jeff Kearns. I'm going to put up a page on my website to feature all the music related photos ... there are a lot of personal photos of his wife and children too, that I'll leave out.

The Trotmore is a special guitar, definitely in the right hands with you, Rick - but the photo album! I can't wait.

I went thru some emotional angst about selling the Trotmore. I really loved the guitar, and You dont see them every day etc etc.
Now that its gone, I can say that the guitar has absolutely gone to the right person, and I am very pleased that Rick agrees about how lovely it is to play, and what a marvelous and rare object it is to own and take care of for future generations.

I still have may beloved clinesmith short scale frying pan which is a joy too.

Enjoy enjoy!

Mr. Green

I figured Jerry Byrd's 1949 hit single ... Drowsy Waters ... would be a good tune to play on the Trotmore ... Cool
