I love my ZB, but it's Day setup, and I'd prefer Emmons. How crazy would it be to change? It seems potentially more complicated than just moving the pull rods around.
Anyone done anything like this? Advice? _________________ I don’t believe in pixie dust, but I believe in magic.

I swapped my ZB from Emmons to Day no problem, can’t imagine the reverse would be any different. Just take good note of which holes the rods are sitting in on the yokes, and which holes the yokes themselves are attached to for the ABC pedals. It is a little fiddly, but not impossible. |

It usually takes more than just changing the A & C pedals around. If the E raise and lower knee levers are on the Left Knee, The E Lower 4&8, The Raise 4&8 may need to be reversed also.
Going to Emmons set up you will want the raise E's on LKL. So you roll foot left on A pedal. And LKL to engage F Knee lever (Raise) At same time.
Roll foot Right on B pedal. Roll LKR on D knee lever (Lower E's) at the same time.
Take pictures, And make diagrams of Changer hole and Bell Crank hole, For each pedal and knee lever so they can be setup proper when moved and pull rods replaced.
Good Luck in this adventure.
I play Day Setup, Last 2 guitars I bought was set up Emmons. |

Yeah, I'd have to swap the E and F levers too (currently LKL E and LKR F). _________________ I don’t believe in pixie dust, but I believe in magic.
