In case anyone can make it out, here are some tour dates coming up: (mostly C6th with a little bit of regular guitar thrown in)
June 18, Greenwood Social Hall, Kansas City, 7pm, Mike Dillon-vibes, drums, percussion, James Singleton - bass, myself pedal steel and guitar.
June 19, Pop's Blue Moon, Saint Louis, 7pm, same group.
June 20, Martyrs on Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, 7:30, same group with Ed Wilkerson Jr on sax and Charles Rumback on Drums.
San Francisco Bay area:
July 2nd, Specs Twelve Aldler Museum, 7pm, Dave Anderson, bass, myself steel and guitar.
July 5th, Gestalt Bar, 7:30pm same duo.
July 6th, Tichenor Square, in St Francis Square, concert on the hill, around noon.
July 7th, The Belle Cora, 6pm, same two with Timothy Orr on drums.
July 8th, The Backroom in Oakland, 7pm, same duo with Sam, the house piano man.

I am sure this trio is amazing!
James Singleton is a very in-demand bass player and one of the hardest working musicians in town. Mike is also an incredible player (just be careful if folks ask him to "whip it out" on stage) I used to see them all the time when I lived in NOLA. Great improvizers, always interesting.
I've never heard you play before David, but if those two have you band that is as strong an endorsement as one could hope for!
Break some legs on the road, I'll plan to catch y'all when you come out this way |
