Anyone know where I could pick up the two metal plates on top of the speaker cab that holds the amp in place? I took the amp out for a while and was just using the speaker cab with my Toneblock, but I want to put it back together, and lo and behold, that "special place" I put them in has moved. Shocked

Available nowhere new. These are a different size than any other make of amp. Only hope is finding some used ones.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I guess I'll just manufacture a couple until the special place materializes some day.

That's what I had to do. I fabbed some out of light alu stock.

Maybe one of our forum brothers has disassembled an amp and has some spare parts.

as a short term fix, I painted some washers flat black. it worked perfectly, and you really had to look hard to notice them. They were thicker and wider than the traditional straps, so they actually did a better job.

Just a thought...

nobody looks at the steel players amp.
