That Triple 10 Bigsby is indeed Tom Morrell's that he let me play here and there when he was one of my Mentors back in 90's.

So nice, Ricky!! (as always). You have a sweet touch on the non-pedal, as well.

Who's the artist you're backing? Nice voice.

Which steel/tuning are you using on the recordings?

Finally....any more? Winking

Thanks Jim.
That was our Bass player in early Dale Watson band: "Preston Rumbaugh" and Jeff Keyton on Guitar; just a throw together gig in Austin.
That was actually my S-8 Fender Stringmaster.

Wow, Ricky, this is a real World Premiere rightcheer. This is a recording of a no rehearsal pickup gig, and we never used the recordings for demo. To make a small correction to above post, Preston, the singer, played guitar on this and trades lead with Ricky. I played upright bass, and for lack of a better word, produced the recording, by enticing my buddy to come out and record us, for the promise of a cheeseburger from that joint. This was the only gig of these 4 players together and it was an honor and hoot to be playing with Ricky on it.

Well thanks so much Jeff, my memory is almost good enough to speak..lol. I just figured Preston played bass because he was our bass player but you're bass sounded great, was that up-right,, then who played drums. sorry I can't remember it all but I remember a little bit of it, thanks for helping my memory come back somewhat the more I hear some of the songs the more I start transitioning my memory to what I used to feel back then so thanks for helping this traumatic brain injured musician bring back some great memories that is so weird us 4 players that only time we play the gig together that was incredible sounds great.

Buck Johnson was the drummer at that gig, but we usually played without a drummer. Preston was getting the gigs in between backing other people on Bass, I was rehearsed with him, and when we'd get another lead in there, he had some number charts, or would just call the chords out.

Cool Jeff; thanks for the info. Did you mean "Buck Johnson" on Drums?? He certainly knows how to play that style.
