Hey guys and gals,
I played standard guitar for several years, then no guitar for another several. A few months ago I bought an old gretsch 6-string from a friend for $150 and started playing again. Even found me a teacher. I don't have any desire to gig or play professionally anymore, but I've been having a ball learning and making music with this wonderful instrument, which brings me to the subject of the thread. Lately I've been drooling over 8-string JB Fry Pans and the Sierra SL-8. My wife says " you don't need an expensive steel, your just piddling with it." I guess that makes me a "No Peddler Piddler". Say that 5 times real fast! Seriously, my sweetheart of 33 years doesn't care what I spend on guitars. She's happy that I'm happy! Anyway........anybody got a good deal on a used Sierra SL-8?
