Hello all,

Last year I bought a wonderful Mullen PRP SD-10 from Damir. It's been a great guitar, but my situation has changed. My son has decided to learn pedal steel, and is living in two places currently (working towards moving out - he's 21). I've sort of given him the Mullen to learn on, but it is much too heavy for him to lug back and forth every weekend.

So-o-o I'm hoping to find someone who wants to upgrade from an S-10. I'm not interested in a Carter Starter or any other bona-fide 'student model' but rather something along the lines of a Justice S-10 or Mullen Discovery. 3P2K or better.

About the Mullen... it is a 1989 SD-10, black, with 3P5K. Standard Emmons with E's on left. Has a BL705 pickup with a coil split switch. Includes a Mullen cover and Thomas case in good condition.

More pictures to come when he brings the guitar home tomorrow. Hoping for an even trade, and if it's local to WA so much the better.

The 'Pre-Royal Precision' decal will be removed before sale.

If the weight is the problem, think about this. It's what I'm doing now. I ordered a lap steel case from Amazon. It's a perfect size to carry your legs, rods, and pedal bar. I only carry the guitar in its case. The weight is reduced substantially. Sometimes I carry the guitar in a piano bag case to reduce the carry weight even more. I'm doing this with an LDG a d an Emmons D10 Push Pull.

Hi Landon,

I’m interested And would love to speak with you about a trade.

Would probably need to be trade plus cash from me.

I currently have an ETS - East Texas Steel that I bought from Tommy Dodd from here on forum, when I used to take lessons from him. It was designed to be light weight as it has an aluminum body.

I’m not home now so I can’t weigh it. But will send you some pictures and the measurements when I get home on Monday.

It’s been a great guitar for me. But I’ve been looking for an SD 10 just like this one. Could be a match made in Heaven! Ha ha.

The ETS is a E9 with 3 x 5 with a George L pickup.
