It never ceases to amaze me at the things people do to steel guitars to supposedly make them better. I once got an Emmons 67 bolt on that had fiberglass glued to the hollow parts of the neck and the same guitar had an adjustable bar across center of guitar to put pressure on aprons. I’ve seen really nice guitars with holes drilled in top for a Mike stand. As far as the bread clip on that Carter, who knows?

Glad to see it was not a real problem, And easy to fix.
When I replaced the keys on a MSA Classic S10. As I was removing the old keys I noticed the 5 & 6 keys had been ground or filed on the end, When I replaced them I had to file them to get clearance, between the shafts.
