Contact cement works well for that task. I’ve done that before. _________________ Tony Rankin |

Can this fix be done leaving the end plates in place? _________________ Mullen G2, Hilton VP, Roland Blues Cube Hot, Keeley Caverns V2 Delay & Reverb |

Go to the auto parts store and get a tube of emblem trim adhesive. 3M is the popular brand. Work it into the gap of the loose trim a few times, work the trim back and forth a bit to try to get a good bit of adhesive in there.
Push the trim tight and secure with some blue or green painters tape. It shouldn't take long to set. Any excess glue, which should be very minimal, can be wiped off with naptha, paint thinner or similar product. Be careful of adhesive or solvents on pinstriping tape.
And if contact cement does the job, great. |
