Here is an unknown d10 steel for sale. Dont know the brand. Needs work. 5 pedal rods are missing. Some linkages underneath need reattached. Tuning keys are missing. Could use a good cleaning. No case. I was told could be an old marlen. Has woody woodells name on the guitar. Do not know anything about the owner or the steel.

Im 90% certain that is a Miller D10. Had a single 8 which was a great sounding guitar. Best of luck.

I wonder if the pedal board is original, Looks like a piece of Aluminum angle. Most pedal boards are either cast/extruded Aluminum channel, Or a wood pedal board with metal reinforcement.

Went on a search for Woody Wooddell. There is a Woody Wooddell, Born in Green Banks, WV. Had a band called the Riding Rangers. Played Ohio and mid west.
On Hillbilly-Music.Com, There is a good story on the site about him. May help you on history of this guitar.

Good Luck on your search.

Different spelling, Bobby. I believe this was the Woody Woodell (one ā€œdā€) that made custom cases & did recones on JBls.

Heard back from Mr. Nick. This guitar sold months ago.

Yes, in "Steelguitar World" Woody Woodell was known for a steel guitar case which was light and he had had thrown out of a private plane to show it's indestructibility (evidently empty). He also re-coned JBL D130's for many of the players who used them in their times and also later years. John Hughey suggested him to me in the late 90's as WW would "do" his JBL's. I believe he also worked on Lloyd Green's (in his single 15" Fender Twin Reverb).
So, I called and thereafter did my collection of JBL D130's after a 2 hour phone call on which he unloaded a heap of stories of the past.
My "Woodied" JBLs still sing today.
