March 23rd 2024 . At Good Shepherd Community Church 210 Obetz Rd . Columbus Ohio 43207 . Annex at rear of Church .Doors open at 10:00 Starts at 12:00. Free to the public .Food will be served by the Church ladies at a fair price to offset the expenses .Full backup band . Got some great players coming . Should be 10/12 steel players attending .Maybe more .If you sing , please plan on it .. We will be having three Steel players at a time . Singers will alternate also .We will be doing all styles of music from Gospel,Country, Blues , Jazz , etc . I would like to have a experienced blue grass band to play a set for us , if there is one available . This would be a new thing for us . For more information please call Gary at , 614-774-3109 . I asked this gentleman if he wanted to try my Bongo bass. Got a big yes! He really enjoyed the big fat B string and that four band preamp, into a pair of 15" bass speakers really cut through the mix. In this song,, three steels, two guitars, drums and the bass.
I think he had a great time. And really great bass playing. |
