Interested in this steel. Looking at the pictures is there a piece missing from behind the changer? It looks like the screws are sticking out. Williams usually has a plate across that area.

Nothing is missing as far as I can see , there is no plate on the back of the changer , I don’t remember seeing any plates on any of the Williams guitars I had … screws are backed out because previous owner didn’t use split tuning system , so instead of removing them , he just backed them out
