I've been trying to find information on Curtis Burch. I can see his old web site on archive.org but am surmising he has passed, but can't find an obituary anywhere (nor here on SGF). If anyone has links to info on Curtis, could you please post them in a reply?

Thanks,
Joe

Alive and quite well, I believe.

At least as of a few days ago. I saw him post on Facebook.

If you need biographical info on "Dr Dobro", just search on "Curtis Burch, dobro". There's quite a bit of stuff that pops up, including articles and YouTube video.

Thanks very much, Howard. I generally don't do Facebook so didn't look there. I found a bunch of youtube videos but they mostly seemed from a while ago, nothing much recent. I posted on resohangout and someone there knew that Curtis has neurpathy in his hands and so hasn't been able to play, which would explain not a lot of videos.

Cheers,

Another record well worth having with Norman alongside another fine Dobro picker (among others) would be this one:
