Did I miss where Live Steel Strings might not be in business anymore. I’ve been a longtime user and I’m down to seeds and stems again and it looks like they are no more.

Not sure. I sent them an email a month or two ago and never heard back.

And they have .0115 gauge 3rd strinsgs. A nice compromise between 11s & 12s

I used those for a while before settling on a .012.

I found this to be a great 3rd string. I was getting them from Jagwire and loved them but for some reason they started to break when putting on new sets. I replaced and replaced and got to the point I was gun shy to put it on which was sad because I felt the added to the overall balance. Jagwire was nice enough to send me replacement .0115 strings but they too broke immediately.. haven’t tried a .012 yet but maybe I will. Any other manufacturer doing sets with 0115?

I played with Mathew Tan And The Singapore Cowboys in the early 90's, in Singapore, and I had a bad batch of either .011s or 12s and broke 3 or 4 in a row as soon as I tried to bring them up to pitch, they broke.
That was really embarrassing!
