I shouldn't talk you out of it because I'm considering this - it's a great guitar and great price.
But you should maybe consider extended E9 |

Junior Knight that's how the guitar originally came to me, as the "Reese” tuning Bb6th and I changed it somewhat of a standard u12 |

This is a good buy for someone. You said, it has a few dings in the paint? The body is painted? I don't think I've seen a painted body on a MSA? I'm thinking, maybe it has a natural finish over maple and someone refinished it?
I have two U-12 MSA's and would buy this one if I actually needed three of them. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |

Looks like a late 70's model? The finish is a minor concern. These guitars are mechanically indestructible. With the right pickup, can match any all pull guitar for tone and sustain. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |
