Connerly is not a 'brand' name that is in general circulation in the steel guitar community.

Pay little mind to the text in the ad. The seller sounds like they know nothing and some of what they say is either dubious or nonsense.

Judging by the little that is shown (which I suspect is deliberate, tactical) I see some shaky craftsmanship.

It could play. It could even play well. No telling without trying it. It is NOT something to buy sight unseen.

IMO it is grossly overpriced.

Maybe built by Mary Shelley?

Even if it wasn't, 'Frankenstein' comes to mind.

$1500 is wishful thinking; optimistic, at best.

Reading the description, it appears to be a one-off father and son project, a rebuild of a Sho~Bud Maverick. Not likely you'll ever see another one.

The description in the Reverb ad makes it clear that this is a DIY project guitar.

The description tells the entire story, and is worth looking up. Real life steeler stuff.

Looks like someone found Grandpa Connerly's Steel Dream or a Maverick kit guitar, In a closet or attic and are putting it up for sale.

I would have a tough time justifying paying half that. As is, it looks like a headache guitar.
