Does someone know the current value of a well-preserved Franklin Pedabro?

Thanks,
Alex

That value would most probably be what the owner wants for it and what he'd settle for from a committed buyer.

It'd probably be worth around ten grand.
But the pool of people to whom it's worth that much is going to be quite small. So it might take a while to sell.

There was one posted in the classifieds here a couple years ago. I think it was listed at 15 or 16K.

I've heard he built twenty-five pedabros.

If I could afford to buy a Pedabro - I wouldn't - I'd go for this "Wish List" Pommele Sapele Scheerhorn instead.

Any body know if there are more pedabros being made by Franklin or a different maker?

Wasn't Hudson making something similar?

There is currently one for sale on reverb for $19k. I know someone who has one who will probably sell it cheaper but not much cheaper. You are looking at $10k plus minimum.

One time I was at Buddy's and Mike Cass was there and so was PeeWee Charles, demonstrating the IV Pitchrider MIDI for pedal steel, and Mike had the blueprints for a pedal dobro® and was told not to make/sell one because it would infringe on a patent.
Paul's playing on "You And Your Friend", with Dire Straits, is great:
